Can I define a custom raffle ticket number format?
Not with the Free version, but you can create a custom raffle ticket number with the Pro Version.
Does this allow me to sell unlimited tickets?
Yes, although the numbers recycle after the first 100 tickets, so there are only 100 unique numbers.
Any of our paid versions allow unlimited unique ticket numbers as well as unlimited raffles.
Can I display the number of tickets on the ticket page?
Yes you can do this, when adding the product there is an option for this. That option appears while adding or editing your ticket on the admin side. The option is a checkbox you can check or uncheck. If you check the checkbox the number of tickets for that ticket can be shown and if you uncheck the checkbox then it will not appear.
What if the ticket numbers stop showing on admin page or they are not showing at all?
If they are not showing then you may have incorrectly set up the settings. Like not assigning the raffle product to the category. Please check the manual https://wpraffle.com/getting-started . If your settings are ok then please see if the database tables are complete. Two tables raffle_ticket_generator_setting and raffle_customer_to_tickets these two tables should be present. If they are missing kindly contact us and we will help you correct this issue.
Another issue that could cause this, is if your payment method does not “COMPLETE” the order. Paypal Simple Plugin does not complete the order, so you need to either get a more full featured payment module or manually complete the order and resend the order completion email.
Are there different styles to display tickets?
Yes there are two styles, you can check it out here https://wpraffle.com/getting-started . The two styles are:
Example of a Ranged ticket: -orderid-11-prefix to ticket-orderid-19-prefix and so on.
Example of an Individual ticket: ticket-orderid-11-prefix, ticket-orderid-12-prefix and so on.
Can orders for tickets be done manually on the admin panel?
Yes they can be done manually on the admin side.
What If ticket numbers are not generating according to settings?
If ticket numbers are not generating according to settings please check the ticket product and make sure it is assigned the right category.
Plugin not working correctly?
If the plugin is not working correctly please make sure you have UNINSTALLED the Free Raffle Ticket Generator as this is most likely the cause. Ticket numbers in the pro, silver, or gold versions are not getting assigned when payment is Paypal?
The ticket numbers are generated upon a paid or completed order. If you use the Paypal Simple payment plugin, Paypal does not report back that the order has been paid for. So you need to go to the order, then in the upper right select, resend completed order email and that will generate the tickets and send them to the customer and add them in the order info on the woo commerce admin. To do this automatically, requires a payment module that reports back that the payment has been completed like Paypal Pro or Paypal advanced. There are plenty of Paypal payment plugins available.
Do manual orders from the admin side show ticket numbers?
Yes they can. You can add manual orders from admin side and you can see the ticket numbers there. These manual ticket numbers are also emailed to customers.
Raffle Ticket numbers are not getting assigned when an order is placed
There are a few things that cause this and they are all related to payment processing.
The raffle ticket generation is triggered on the change from “processing” to “completed” order status. Most payment processing gateway plugins operate this way. However there are a few exceptions. Paypal Simple, leaves the status as processing which requires you to manually mark orders as completed and you can then resend the emails with the Tickets in them.
The default Stripe gateway in woocommerce goes from “pending” to “completed” which also will not trigger, you need to adjust the pending to processing in the stripe plugin and the raffle tickets will generated automatically.

Ticket images are not being displayed
If the raffle ticket images are not being displayed in the confirmation email and the backend, the problem is most likely that your hosting is not supporting the current gdlibrary function.
The first thing to check is to test if tickets are generated when you uncheck the ticket image in the raffle ticket options. Make sure that normal tickets are generated. If not, it is another issue and please contact support.
If ticket numbers are generated normally but not the images, then the problem is your gdlibrary.

If you are responsible for your hosting, make sure that version 2.2.3 is installed and working properly. If you are on shared hosting, your host might not support gdlibrary or the version is an older version. We are known to work with the current version, but do not have enough info about older versions.
If your host does not support the current version of gdlibrary, there is nothing we can do about the issue and you need to use regular tickets.
Several people have asked which hosts support gdlibrary, unfortunately, we do not have enough information as many hosts have different versions on different servers.
For example. We have seen it work properly on some hostgator servers, but others do not. When we look at the different servers, they have various versions so there is not a lot of consistency on the same hosting providers.
Raffle Category is not showing on Silver and Gold Editions
We get a few calls about this. The Raffle Ticket Generator uses woocommerce product categories to designate the settings for a raffle. This allows you to configure and host multiple online raffles on the same site at the same time with different prizes and settings. Simply make sure you have a woocommerce product category setup exclusively to be used for the raffle. And in the category details select “Make this a Raffle Category”. Then you can go to Raffle Ticket Generator on the left sidebar in Admin and you will see the raffle. Click on the name to expand the settings. Virus Warning – Sucuri says there is a virus?
Due to piracy issues, we have been forced to encrypt our plugin code. It is a shame that too many people expected us to support and provide this software for free so we had now choice to encrypt and encode the software so that we can continue to be around to support this online raffle product. Unfortunately, Sucuri reports this as a false positive. You can safely ignore that warning. The plugin does not contain a virus if you purchased it from us.
I want to modify your plugin – how can I do that?
Short Answer – you cannot.
Unfortunately, too many people have not played fair and have tried to pirate our plugin. We have thousands and thousand of hours in our product and we will not just give it away for other web developers to sell to their customers.
The other issue, is we provide US based support. Too many early users would modify the code and then expect us to fix their mistakes for free.
Based on the above 2 issues, we have been forced to encrypt our code.
We understand that we are pretty much the only raffle plugin that works and we provide excellent US based support. If you require a specific feature or request we are happy to see what we can do to accommodate you. If you want to have an un-encrypted version to modify, it simply will not happen.

What are the terms of the license?
When you purchase the Raffle Ticket Generator Online Raffle Plugin, you are granted a lifetime license for use on a single domain and single server. You can transfer the license to a different domain and server via the control panel on http://online.wpraffle.com. You can use it as long as you want on the versions of WordPress that the plugin continues to work on. Updates are valid for as long as you have a current support license. We offer 6 month and 1 year support options when you purchase the plugin. You are entitled to any new versions or updates during that time. You have the option to renew support and upgrades at a discounted rate. Obviously we are not fortune tellers and cannot predict the future. A lifetime license does not include life updates. If you bought a version 2 years ago when WordPress 4.4 was the latest release and you did not purchase additional support and updates, you may need to purchase an update to get a version of the plugin that is compatible with a newer version of WordPress. For example, in certain circumstances our 1.x and 2.x versions may not work on WordPress 4.9 and WooCommerce 3 due to a variety of security enhancements implemented in those versions.
How do I upgrade from Silver to Gold Edition
We have an upgrade path so simply order the Silver to Gold upgrade on our store page. You will uninstall the silver and then install the gold plugin with the new key you are provided in the email. All of your settings will be there. The only thing you will need to do is resave the ticket image. Our gold edition allows you to select and use a custom ticket image. So if you are using the ticket image option in the silver edition, when you upgrade there will be a duplicate ticket image on the end. You need to select the original ticket image and resave the raffle settings. After you save the raffle, you can then upload a custom ticket image. Please contact support if you have any issues.
